Nokia N800 Internet Tablet
Nokia released the new Nokia N800 as the next generation widescreen Nokia Nseries.
The N800 has a full QWERTY keyboard, high resolution touchscreen display (800×480), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), built-in camera, Bluetooth, and the user can e-mail, instant message, and make Internet calls using Skype.
Other Specs:
- Internet Tablet OS 2007 edition
- Web Browser Opera 8 w/ Flash player version 7
- 320MHz processor
- 128MB RAM
- 256MB Flash ROM, 128MB miniSD
- USB 2.0 high speed for PC connectivity
In addition, Nokia claims the N800 can last up to 3.5 hours of surfing the web and can standby for 12 days.

We are getting so close to the ideal digital media/portable internet device here. I just want two additions to the spec
1) SDHC slots instead of the standard SD
2) A2DP profile added to the Bluetooth to enable wireless headphone use and digital connection to say a stereo or car ‘radio’ without all of the cradle/FM transmitter nonsense

apparently SDHC cards are compatible with SD card slots, but on the Nokia and Zaurus you’d need a different driver… so hopefully the N800 will be SDHC compatible.
people have had success using non-SDHC 4GB cards with it, which is the current affordable limit on SD cards anyway.
