Customer Service

How have you found customer service for various providers? I was with Nextel for about five years and had nothing but trouble with their customer service people... many didn't know how to find an answer, and most were quite rude.

I've used Cingular for almost a year now and am extremely happy with them. Their customer service and tech support people have been great every time I've dealt with them.

Not sure if Nextel/Sprint is better after the merger... Perhaps the problem I was having is because of Nextel's structure which tried to provide regional sales, but centralized support.

The management and staff are what makes or breaks a company. Likewise, if some companies won't invest in having their staff learn more on effective customer relations, they would end up losing just because of poor customer service.
