Strange speaker volume issue with Treo 650

I had a really odd issue with my Treo 650. It was as if the Volume was set at a low setting for my ringtone, and when I used the speakerphone feature. Yet the settings were all set on high. I even brought it to the store where I purchased the unit and they checked all the settings and couldn't figure it out. They told me to call Tech Support.

Tech Support did some troubleshooting, then told me to call the warranty dep't the next morning. This was after about 2 weeks of having the problem. By the time the next morning rolled around, my Treo was suddenly working properly again.

I noticed today it may be happening again, but can't be sure because I was on a noisy street at the time.

Anyone else have anything like this happen?
